Atlanta (FX)

Donald Glover and his squad made their TV debut and it literally took pop culture by storm. The aim was to extend the world of the show to digital for an innovative, fully immersive experience. For all four seasons as Creative Lead, Copywriter, I worked with an amazing team to develop the voice of the show across socials. The creative concepts were designed for maximum impact to hit all of FX KPIs, as well as Donald Glover’s vision for how to hack both culture and the algorithm. Additionally I concepted, wrote and developed marketing shoot concepts featuring lead talent and scripts for second and third season promotions, and you can see the CLIO award-winning end results at CONTENT DEVELOPMENT.

For the final Season 4 I thought it would be fun for the Twitter handle to be hijacked by a real Artificial Intelligence, and it went off smooth, sending our legendary account off into the sunset the same way it came in. With a very intentional innovation. This final season’s pen work clenched a 2022 CLIO for “Social Media Copywriting”.
