Professionally, I have just ended a run as full-time Creative Director for award-winning digital agency, GLOW. There, I lead various campaigns and pitches in the entertainment space, most notably winning a CLIO Award (2024) as one of two creative directors on an OOH activation for AppleTV+. I also lead the development of that agency’s AI division and projects. I had a great time with them, and they gave me the space to cook my next move.

My current focus is the CERITAS Research Group, and The Kizmet Experience Studio [click here ]. Through those two projects I have shifted my focus to exploring and researching the new modes of storytelling that emerging tech and immersive design offer.

For work and freelance projects, I am interested in aligning with you on projects and collaborations, especially if they are aiming for uplift and liberation. Please reach out. Artificial Intelligence is all the rage now… so, just so you know,…. I started incorporating those skills into my toolset back in 2020 if you want to talk about it.

Creative director, writer, producer and artist with over 20 years experience. Morehouse College alum that started out as a music journalist and freelance copywriter certified by the School of Visual Arts (2000). Became Associate Editor at RIME magazine, Senior Copywriter at Frank151 and Managerial Editor for Nielsen market research operation, IAG (2004). Founded online music community and social media examiner The Good Look, managing and engaging in community development, writing, and creating a unique voice and brand position (2009). Managed online market research communities for Fortune 500 clients including Microsoft, Disney and FOX (2010). Former Music Supervisor and Curator for high tech music company Earbits.com, backed by Y Combinator, Charles River Ventures, the founder of Wordpress and other notable investors (2011). Former Director of Brand and Strategic Partnerships at Stampede Management, managing a brand partnership portfolio between high profile music talent and global brands (2014). My freelance work these days ranges from Copy, Campaign and Brand Voice to Music Discovery expert. Highly capable, creative and versatile team leader, creative strategist, communications expert and writer, digital media trend spotter, partnerships coordinator, and community builder.

After two decades in the entertainment and marketing worlds working with some of the world’s most impactful brands and artists, I launched The Kizmet Experience Studio. KZMTx is a creative laboratory that explores where sustainability, design, the arts and liberation overlap. We aim to make work that inspires action. We are currently developing projects for TV, film, digital and experiential.
